Honda India launches pre-launch booking for mid-size SUV Elevate

Honda’s latest SUV is expected to launch in India in September 2023 with starting price of ₹12 lakh and face competition from XUV300, Bolero and Altroz

New Delhi: Honda Cars India has started pre-launch bookings for its upcoming new mid-size SUV Elevate, which goes on sale in September this year.

Customers can book the model across all its authorised dealerships as well as online, the automaker said in a statement. India will be the first market to launch the Elevate during the festive season this year, it added.

Market experts believe that Elevate is likely to face stiff competition from Hyundai’s Exter, which is coming with various features. The booking for Exter has also been opened and the car is expected to be rolled on road next month. The Honda Elevate is expected to launch in India in September 2023. The Honda Elevate will rival XUV300, Bolero and Altroz. Expect prices to start from ₹12 Lakh.

“We are excited to announce the opening of pre-launch bookings today for this strongly anticipated model, which will go on sale in September,” Honda Cars India director (Marketing and Sales) Yuichi Murata noted.

“The Honda Elevate has received tremendous response since its World Premiere in June 2023. We are excited to announce the opening of pre-launch bookings today for this strongly anticipated model, which will go on sale in September’23. Through meticulous research and extensive customer feedback, we have designed this car to cater to the evolving needs and desires of our target audience. We are confident that the new model Elevate is poised for tremendous success in the market,” said the company in a statement on Monday.

Specifications

Honda Elevate will be powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine with VTC mated to a 6 speed MT and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The exterior design of the Honda Elevate features a striking front face, sharp character lines, and a unique rear design that commands a strong road presence.

The SUV will sport full LED projectors headlamps with LED DRLs and LED Turn Indicator, LED taillamps and two-tone finish diamond cut R17 alloy wheels. While the interior design follows the concept of “Progressive and Protective”. It will come with a spacious interior cabin with top-class wheelbase, spacious headroom, knee room, legroom and a generous cargo space of 458L.

The mid-size Honda Elevate SUV will have a 7-inch high-definition full colour TFT meter cluster, a new floating type 10.25-inch in-plane switching (IPS) High-Definition (HD) resolution LCD touch-screen display audio with Optical Clear Adhesive (OCA) and wireless smartphone charger. It will be equipped with the luxurious brown leatherette upholstery with soft touch pads on dashboard and door trims.

Colours

Honda Elevate will be offered in single-tone and dual-tone colour options. The range will comprise of Phoenix Orange Pearl (New Colour), Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
