Realme to launch much-awaited GT 7 Pro phone in China on Nov 4

New Delhi: The much-awaited Realme GT 7 Pro, which was set to launch this month, will be unveiled on November 4 at an event in China. 

As announced earlier, Realme GT 7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC processor. It will be the first smartphone to launch in India next month with Qualcomm’s flagship silicon at the helm. The brand is supposed to have an IP68/69 rating for the GT 7 Pro – a first for a Realme smartphone.

The pictures shared by Realme give us a glimpse of the GT 7 Pro’s back. You can also see the smartphone has antenna lines on the top frame, suggesting a metal build. It houses what appears to be an IR blaster and a secondary microphone.

On the front, the phone will have a centered punch-hole display, sourced from Samsung. Rumors claim it will have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded. Recently, Realme announced the Realme GT 7 Pro is going to be the first smartphone to launch in India with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This marks a major milestone for the brand as it brings Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor to Indian consumers.  

However, the exact launch date is still a mystery, but now the Chinese brand has officially revealed that once the smartphone is launched, it will be available for purchase on Amazon and select offline retailers.

Design wise, Realme has revealed that the GT 7 Pro will come in two color options—Orange and Black. The Orange variant will sport a vegan leather back, while the Black variant will feature a sleek glass finish. The phone’s rear design will showcase a lifted circular camera ring, housing a triple-camera setup, including a periscope telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom. The Realme branding will be placed centrally on the back. Furthermore, the phone is also expected to boast an IP69 rating. The device will likely feature a curved display, along with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. 

Reports suggest that Realme GT 7 Pro has scored a staggering 3,025,991 points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which has placed it ahead of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 and Apple’s A18 Pro. Moreover, the Realme GT 7 Pro can come with a 6,500mAh battery that supports 120-watt fast charging.

Market analysts say that Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to compete strongly in the premium smartphone segment and is likely to be priced between Rs 55,000 and Rs 60,000 in India.
