Patna: The East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to operate clone special express trains from Patna and Gaya to Anand Vihar in Delhi with a view clearing extra rush of passengers during summer vacations, officials said.
According to ECR chief public relations officer Birendra Kumar, the special clone express trains will start running from April 15 and will continue its operation till July 1.
According to the press communique, 02351 Patna-Anand Vihar superfast clone express special will depart from Patna at 4 pm daily from April 15 to 20 and from April 27 to June 30 and reach Anand Vihar at 6 am the next day.
Accordingly, 02352 Anand Vihar-Patna superfast clone express special will depart from Anand Vihar at 8 am daily from 16th to 21st April and from 28th April to 1st July and will reach Patna at 9:55 pm on the same day. It will be a clone of Sampoorna Kranti Express.
Mahabodhi Express clone
Similarly, a clone train of Mahabodhi Express will run from Gaya. Train no. 03635/03636 Gaya-Anand Vihar-Gaya superfast clone express special will run as clone to Mahabodhi express. 03635 clone express special train will depart from Gaya at 2.15pm daily from from April 15 to April 20 and from April 27 to June 30 daily and reach Anand Vihar at 5.00am the next day.
In return, train no. 03636 Anand Vihar-Gaya superfast clone express special will depart from Anand Vihar at 7am daily from April 16 to April 21 and from April 28 to July 1 daily and will reach Gaya at 8.45pm the same day.
In up and down direction, this train will stop at Anugrah Narayan Road, Dehri on Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Prayagraj Jn and Kanpur stations. This special will have 01 coach of 2AC, 03 coaches of 2A cum 3AC, 03 coaches of 3AC, 07 sleeper class and 06 coaches of ordinary class.
Running of Kamakhya-Anand Vihar special train extended
The 02525 Kamakhya Anand Vihar special train will not ply on every Friday the route till June till June 28 and it will return to Anand Vihar from Kamakhya (02526) on every Sunday till June 30.
