Airtel launches cutting edge 5G service in Ranchi, Jamshedpur

Airtel customers in these two cities can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds in localities of Ranchi and Jamshedpur

Ranchi: Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecommunications services provider, on Friday announced the launch of its cutting edge 5G services in Jharkhand’s Ranchi and Jamshedpur cities.

Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to construct its network and complete the roll out. Customers with 5G enabled devices will enjoy high speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the roll out is more widespread. The company will augment its network making its services available across the state in due course of time.

Commenting on the launch, Anupam Arora CEO- Jharkhand, Bihar & Odisha, Bharti Airtel, said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Ranchi & Jamshedpur. Airtel customers in these two cities can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”

The 5C services are now available at Ranchi railway station, Main Road, Firayalal Chowk, Lalpur, Hinoo Chowk, Harmu, Piska More, Kanta Toli, Dipa Toli, Khelgaon, Booty More, Rajendra Chowk in Ranchi. Meanwhile, in Jamshedpur, you will can experience Airtel’s 5G network at Sakchi Market, Bistupur, TELCO Colony, Tatanagar Railway Station, Sonari, Mango-Dimna Road, Kadma, PM Mall, Bhubaneshwari Mandir area.

Airtel 5G Plus will bolster the entire portfolio of services that Airtel offers. In addition, it will allow superfast access to high definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.

Airtel has launched its 5C services in the state of Jharkhand and Bihar. In November, the telecom operator introduced 5C services in Patna, including the Jay Prakash Narayan airport.
