The Patna High Court was earlier scheduled to hear the case on January 31. However, it was re-scheduled for hearing on February 4, as Justice Arvind Singh Chandel in whose bench the case was listed was on leave on January 31.

The court was likely to hear the case in the context of affidavits filed by the BPSC and the state government, which are reluctant to provide any succour to the students. During the last hearing of the case on January 15, the court had asked the BPSC and the state government to file the counter affidavit.

The 70th BPSC PT exam was held on 13 December 2024. A total of 912 examination centers were set up for this. Many candidates are expressing displeasure over this and are demanding re-examination in the entire state.

Earlier Anand Legal and Forum Trust of Bihar had filed a petition in the Supreme Court, which rejected the plea.
